Store memory and agent rules

Store memory is what Kobold knows about one store: brand words, how you like things done, which apps you use, what not to touch. The agents read it on every task and show a Using store memory chip when it shaped their answer.

You can add memory yourself under Store settings → Memory, or accept Pip's suggestions: when Pip learns something useful during a task it asks "Save to memory?" and you decide.

Good memory is short and specific:

• "Discount codes are uppercase, like WELCOME10."
• "We run A/B tests with Intelligems; leave data-intelligems attributes alone."
• "Use the newsletter input style for new text fields."

Rules are firmer than memory. Under Store settings → Agent rules you can:

• Lock files or folders, e.g. sections/header.liquid. Nib stops and asks before touching them.
• Add QA pages that Moss always tests, e.g. /collections/aprons.
• Scope a rule to one agent (Pip, Nib or Moss) or all three.

Memory, rules and the theme index are deleted 30 days after a store is disconnected.
