• Kobold now lives at usekobold.com: the app at app.usekobold.com, help at docs.usekobold.com, and emails from mail.usekobold.com. Client approval links use app.usekobold.com/r/….
• Every Kobold page has the Kobold icon in the browser tab and on the home screen, and links to Kobold, the help center and client approval pages show a preview card in Slack, WhatsApp, iMessage and email.
• The privacy policy and terms now name the company behind Kobold: SAUDADE MEDIA OÜ (registry code 17537135) in Tallinn, Estonia. Privacy complaints go to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate or your local authority.

• A new message on a live task (or Try again with a fix after a rollback) now builds on what that task shipped. If the change was rolled back, Nib brings it back first. If it was replaced or edited on your theme since, Pip asks whether to bring it back or keep what's there now, and lists the files that changed. Pip and Nib also see the earlier plan and changes, so you don't have to explain them again.

• While a change waits for your approval, only a real change request sends it back to Nib. "Looks good, let's publish" or a question gets a reply pointing to Approve & publish, with nothing rebuilt or re-tested.

• The "How do you want to continue?" card shows your choice (highlighted, with who picked it and when) and dims the other options.

• The locale check no longer flags plural translation keys (like a cart count with one/other forms) or translations a file already used before the change.

• Attach files to a message: screenshots and mockups (PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF), PDFs such as brand guidelines, and text or code files (.liquid, .css, .js, .json, .txt, .md). Use the paperclip, paste a screenshot, or drop files on the composer; up to 5 files of 10 MB each. Pip, Nib and Moss see them.

• Pick which theme a task works from in the composer's store pill (Work from theme). Kobold copies that theme, tests against it, and on approval either updates that theme (nothing is published) or publishes the copy as your live theme.

• QA cards: checks Moss accepted read "Accepted by Moss" with his reason as a short note under the row (two lines, then More), and the title says "15 passed · 2 accepted". Long details no longer push labels off the row.

• Nib's fix rounds and Moss's test script run at low effort (the fix is already diagnosed, the script is short), so they finish faster and cost less; planning, the first build and Moss's failure reading keep their configured effort.

• The review card's before/after shots and preview links now appear as soon as QA passes, without reloading the page.

• Task names are short (at most five words), named by Pip from your request instead of showing the start of your message, and the new name appears right away without reloading the page.

• Faster, cheaper builds: Nib starts while Shopify duplicates your theme, begins from exactly what Pip read (no second exploration), fix rounds and Moss start from Nib's changes, and Pip continues his question round into the plan instead of starting over.

• Nib now runs Shopify's Theme Check on the copy before handing over, plus checks for bugs QA used to catch after the build (a translation escaped twice, a new setting without a value).

• "Ask Nib to fix it" shows Moss's fix in one plain line; the technical details are one click away under "What Nib will change".

• QA reaches its verdict about twice as fast: Lighthouse no longer holds up the review (it reports right after, with a note if the score drops), the live score is reused until the live theme changes, and only real flukes (timeouts, network errors) are retested, once.

• The plan's credit estimate now comes from your finished tasks (credits per file changed) instead of the planner's guess, which showed "20–20" on every plan.

• After a publish or rollback, the smoke test card updates in place with each check's result (no more "Waiting" next to a passed check, and no second copy of the card).

• Pip asks for the test data Moss needs (for example a working and a rejected discount code), and Moss can ask you when something is missing.

• Sending feels instant: your message flies from the box into the thread and the agent who'll answer shows up at once with a live status that updates as the work moves on. Starting a task no longer reloads the page. A message that can't be sent stays with Retry.

• Buttons like Build it and Ask Nib to fix it show their result straight away, and text that changes in place (status, titles, counters) blurs smoothly from one to the next.

• The thread header has a review panel button to open or close the side panel (or sheet on mobile) any time there's a copy.

• Each QA run is its own card in the thread, with Open QA report: real diff captures, Theme Check errors, step screenshots, console errors, and Lighthouse scores, per round.

• Scripted QA steps wait for Shopify's cart requests after each action, so "add to cart, then open the cart" works reliably.

• Nib's file cards now read as a timeline: each build, fix or adjustment adds its own cards with just that round's changes, and opens that round's diff. Earlier cards no longer change.

• QA runs about twice as fast: Moss tests pages, widths, the scripted steps and smoke tests in parallel.

• Pip asks a round of clarifying questions before the first plan, one question at a time. You can pick several options, write your own answer or skip a question, and your answers go in together.

• Moss tests on your real storefront with checks written for the task: the pages where the change shows, the steps that use it, and an in-stock product when a step needs one.

• Theme Check only fails on errors the change adds. Errors already in your theme no longer block a task.

• Failed checks are no longer re-run as a whole QA round. Flukes are retested on their own, and Moss explains what still fails, then asks whether Nib should fix it or it should go to you for approval.

• Before / After shows the feature itself (for example with the cart drawer open), and it's visible even before every check passes. The Preview tab shows Moss's capture of the copy, with a link to open the live preview.

• Pip, Nib and Moss have new animations: every state loops smoothly with small random movements, and new faces show when they're listening to you, stuck and need your help, paused, hit an error, or celebrating a change going live.

• The task's total credits show at the top of the thread. The plan estimate reads "Est. 20 credits" when the range is a single number.

• Kobold opens to Shopify merchants and agencies: plan, build on a copy, QA and one-click approve.

• Client approval links on the Agency plan.

• 30-day one-click rollback for every published task.

• CLI change package for stores in change package mode.
